We make a difference when disasters strike

Our DVI System International is being used by INTERPOL and countries around the world. It has proved its indisputable quality countless times in many countries. For instance, it has been used for the identification of the victims of:

  • The terrorist bombings in both Bali (2002)
  • The Thai tsunami – in the Thai Tsunami Victim Identification Centre (2005)
  • The terrorist bombings in London (2005)
  • The Spanair Flight 5022 crash in Madrid (2008)
  • The Princess of the Stars ferry capsizing in the Philippines (2008)
  • The Black Saturday bushfires in Victoria, Australia (2009)
  • The Air France AF447 plane crash in the Atlantic Ocean (2009)
  • The Afriqiyah Airways Flight 771 crash in Libya (2010)
  • The Oslo bombings and Utøya shootings in Norway (2011)
  • The Lac-Mégantic derailment in Quebec, Canada (July 2013)
  • The MH17 plane crash in eastern Ukraine (August 2014)

DVI System International was used in different ways in these incidents — sometimes only for the collection and transfer of AM data and at other times to deal with the whole ID operation, depending on whether the countries involved had a license to use DVI System International.
